Waiting, Waiting…

I have Showtime, but I haven’t bothered installing it yet due to the fiasco that was patch that came with it(which I guess they fixed it now?)  I’m patched up fully now, but I’m still waiting until Awesomemod is officially updated.  Sigh.  That’s the only thing I don’t like, waiting for mods to patch… not that I’d be doing a whole lot involving Showtime, anyway.

My legacy is wrapping up.  There’s only one post left!  You can catch up with that over here.  For those curious about my prosperity plans… well, I’ve got the site pretty much ready to go.  I even have the resident database up and everything.  I put an introduction post so you can get a sneak peek at the families I’ll be starting with.  The name may be familiar to some of you, too.  You can check out Aperture Valley by clicking here.

I haven’t played any of my prosperity yet.  I’m still trying to get the site in complete working order and get the hood set up and ready to go.  I will be rolling ROS for them, but not yet.  I’m going to let the families get settled in.  I have a lot of my scenarios in a notepad file and my husband is working on a program to randomize them for me and all of that, so hopefully it’s ready by the time I’m ready to use them!

Hopefully all this ‘setting up’ business will be done soon so I can play!

Oh and my sims profile thingy is tehmao (of course.)  I haven’t had a chance to mess with it much yet, but… ACHIEVEMENTS!  WOO!

  • Ooh, I’m excited to see that your prosperity is all ready to go! Definitely a good idea to save the ROS for when the Sims are a bit more settled. You’ll probably have plenty to write about just letting us get to know the families a bit and all that.

LOL, what do you mean your “Sims thingy”?

Oh, the new profile stuff that came out with the latest patch. It tracks achievements/etc and you can add people to your friend’s list and all of that business.

I guess I should say profile, since that’s what it is. I never bothered with one until now… and I’m still “legitimizing” my collection for achievements, lol.
