12: McMaster 2 – ‘Absolutely’

Catherine McMaster (Young Adult), Juliet McMaster (Young Adult)

Juliet has been spending a lot of time with Sam Monte lately. Well, actually, he’s been spending a lot of time with her, at their house. Catherine really doesn’t understand it. She can’t really stand Sam. There’s just something off about him, but with no proof, Juliet simply thinks she’s jealous. She is, but only a little. It just seems unfair that everything comes to Juliet so easily while Catherine feels like she’s always struggling.

12: Ashton – ‘Save Tonight’

Lily Ashton (Young Adult)

Lily Ashton was beginning to get frustrated. She’d tried to distract herself and break away from Mark McMaster, but that had only led her down the path of dating a married man. It had also made her realize that she didn’t want to date anyone else. She wanted Mark.

Unfortunately, Mark was being his usual self–evasive and capricious.

12: Martel – ‘Take You There’

Luis Martel (Young Adult), Sacha Martel(Young Adult), Aidan Martel (Toddler), Sandra Martel (Baby)

Sacha Martel enjoyed being a mother. She loved it more than her career as an actress and model. However, even she couldn’t deny that little Sandra was a difficult baby. Putting her down for even a moment was simply not an option. It was exhausting. Sacha found herself counting the days until Sandra’s toddler birthday.

At least they were finally settled into the new house next to the beach. Too bad summer hadn’t gotten the memo. They were in the middle of a very strange blizzard.

12: Steel-Klein – ‘Careful’

Clark Klein (Vampire), Asha Steel (Vampire), Emma Steel (Teen), Julian Steel (Teen)

Emma Steel knew something wasn’t right. It was there–hanging in the air, tangible only to her. She was standing there, teetering on the fearsome precipice of change.

She wasn’t a kid. She knew that things changed; it was the natural order of everything to mutate and evolve beyond its initial state of being. Still, it rankled her. It wasn’t a good change. The feeling was an ominous one.

12: Novak 2 – ‘Creep’

Paula Novak (Young Adult), Stefan Novak (Young Adult), Gwendolyn Mosley (Young Adult), Stella Mosley (Child)

“I can’t believe you’re seriously considering this.” Gwendolyn Mosley had a flair for the dramatic, but in this case, her arm flailing and disbelief was warranted. Her friend and roommate, Paula Novak, had clearly lost her mind.

“He’s my brother,” Paula replied with a sigh, “everything I’ve done has been for this. Now he’s free. I have to bring him back.”

“Are you sure that’s such a good idea? What about Lola?”

12: Klein – ‘Connection’

Alex Klein (Adult), Rhys Klein (Teen), Gavin Klein (Child)

Gavin Klein was a little apprehensive about his father’s plan to throw him a birthday party. It wasn’t that Gavin didn’t like people, he did… he just wasn’t really sure he wanted a party celebrating his ascent into the awkwardness of the teenage years.

Unfortunately for him, Alex was hell-bent on doing the best he possibly could for his boys; even if that meant going against their wishes. He was governor now and didn’t get to spend as much time with them as he once had. So he tried to make up for it whenever he could.

12: Winter Birth (McMaster)

Molly McMaster was welcomed into the world during a particularly heavy blizzard. The whole ordeal had been rather stressful, but Molly emerged healthy and relatively happy… the doctor swore that her non-stop crying was normal.

Little Molly wasn’t a particularly happy baby, but at least she was healthy.

She did enjoy a good bath, though. Bianca and Philip learned early on that the easiest way to get her to settle down was to give her a good scrubbing. Did they have a budding neat-freak on their hands?

Despite their new addition being particularly moody, both Bianca and Philip were happy to have a daughter. Hopefully she’d grow out of her finickiness.

12: Ryder – ‘Another Brick in the Wall’

Cherie Ryder (Elder), Khalid Ryder (Elder), Jessica Ryder (Young Adult), Jack Ryder (Young Adult)

Jessica Ryder enjoyed her job. She’d always wanted to grow up and become a firefighter like her father, Khalid. It was a lot of hard work, but at the end of the day, Jessica was quite happy with her accomplishments. She hoped to one day become Chief Firefighter like her dad.

12: Novak – ‘Move Along’

Kelly McMaster (Adult), Andrew Novak (Young Adult), Natalia Novak (Young Adult)

Kelly Novak was doing her best to deal with the cards that she had been dealt. The loss of her husband had been difficult, but she was managing. She still had her children to keep her going. It was a shame that Andrew had lost his girlfriend, Regan. She’d been so young. It was just a reminder of how fleeting life really was.

Kelly had done her best to comfort him, but what do you say when something awful like that happens?

12: Cosaro – ‘Dirty Little Secret’

Dominic Cosaro (Adult)

Dominic Cosaro had a pretty easy life. He was a self-proclaimed bachelor for life, but that hadn’t kept him from bringing two children into the world. Luckily enough for him, their mother was the understanding sort and they had a good relationship.

Unfortunately, Dominic hadn’t really prepared himself for the eventuality of the teen years with his children. Emma was especially moody as a teen. She was quick to anger and completely intolerant of her father’s childish antics lately. One little splash and she was glaring daggers at him as she got out of the pool.
