11: McMaster 2 – ‘That’s What You Get’

Catherine McMaster (Young Adult), Juliet McMaster (Young Adult)

Looking at Juliet McMaster, one would assume she was the ‘bookish’ type who liked to play chess alone and read long, pondering novels. They’d be wrong. Juliet was quite smart and she’d graduated valedictorian of her class in high school, but she was anything but ‘bookish.’ Opting not to attend university, Juliet instead celebrated her freedom by throwing truly impressive parties.

Juliet had always been that way. She had a way about her that just made social situations easy.

11: Novak/Canales – ‘Shine’

Andrew Novak (Young Adult), Regan Canales (Young Adult)

Andrew Novak and Regan Canales had been dating for years now. It only made sense that once they finished college, they’d move in together. Andrew was more than happy to get out of his mournful house while Regan was just happy to be rid of the distance between them. It had been a hard last few years trying to balance their long distance relationship, but it had all worked out in the end.

They both felt significantly less guilty now, too. Lucy was married and she seemed pretty happy. They could enjoy their relationship completely now.

11: Ashton – ‘Sour Girl’

Lily Ashton (Young Adult)

Lily Ashton was dating Garrett Ackerman, a rising sports star on the same team as Dominic Cosaro. Despite being older than Lily, the two found a common ground in their shared chemistry and interests. Garrett always made sure that Lily was having a good time and he’d helped her get her foot in the door of the music industry. Big named people were looking over her lyrics and Lily could hardly contain her excitement.

11: Martel – ‘All For You’

Luis Martel (Young Adult), Sacha Martel(Young Adult), Aidan Martel (Toddler)

Things were going well for the Martel family. Aidan was growing like a weed. He was walking and talking with the best of them. It was startling how quickly the first few years flew by.

Luis was doing well in his career. He’d finally moved into lab work and was now a qualified forensics professional. He still had his uniform, but he spent less time on the beat and more time behind a microscope. Sacha’s career was fairing well, too. She was still modeling, but acting was beginning to take center stage in her life. She’d scored a role on a soap opera as the estranged sister of one of the lead characters.

11: Novak 2/Mosley – ‘Little Things’

Paula Novak (Young Adult), Gwendolyn Mosley (Young Adult), Stella Mosley (Toddler)

Gwendolyn Mosley was in a strange place. Her friend, Paula Novak, had forcibly removed her from her prior residence and insisted she take up her brother’s unused space. She wanted to keep an eye on Gwendolyn and for good reason, as Gwendolyn wasn’t exactly doing her full bit as a mother.

Over the months, things had improved. Gwendolyn still wasn’t going to win Mother of the Year, but she tried. Paula helped, but she made sure that Gwendolyn bore most of the weight. Stefan was still locked up and neither one had heard from him in nearly two years. Even Paula was beginning to doubt Lola’s assurance that he’d be fine, so long as Paula did as she was told.

11: Steel-Klein – ‘Emergency’

Clark Klein (Vampire), Morrigan Hemlock (Vampire), Asha Steel (Vampire), Emma Steel (Teen), Julian Steel (Teen)

Paula Novak walked briskly through the sodden backyard of the Steel-Klein household, leaves sticking to the bottom of her boots. It was a typical autumn day in Aperture. A rainy morning had left a dense fog hanging long into the afternoon, giving everything an unseemly sheen of moisture. It was like walking through soup.

11: Klein – ‘Supervixen’

Alex Klein (Adult), Rhys Klein (Teen), Gavin Klein (Child)

Things at the Klein household had found a routine. It was one colored with bachelorhood and no care for social norms. Alex did his best, but he was a busy man, so it was inevitable that the boys ended up living off of pizza and only doing their homework when they felt the need. Luckily, both boys were pretty good at school and the teachers never had to call home.

Alex kept swearing to Lana he would get a butler, but he never got around to it. The recent loss of Oskar was still stinging in the boy’s hearts and it just felt wrong to introduce someone new into their lives so soon after the death of their grandfather.

11: Summer Wedding (Martel/Harcourt)

Sacha had been waiting for her wedding day for what seemed like an eternity.  As a little girl, she’d always dreamed of the day she’d meet the man of her dreams and walk down the aisle.  Despite all her success as a model and an actress, it never quite filled the void that being alone left her with.  Fame was nice, but it would eventually fade.  Sacha was more interested in a family of her own.

Even a little rain couldn’t put a damper on Sacha’s mood.  It was still early, the rain could stop at any time.  Sacha wasn’t the type to lose hope easily.

11: Ryder – ‘Feel Good Inc.’

Cherie Ashton (Elder), Khalid Ryder (Elder), Jessica Ryder (Young Adult), Jack Ryder (Teen)

Jessica’s leap into adulthood coupled with her seeing Natalia caused a considerable dip in her relationship with her younger brother Jack.  It was just too hard to tip-toe around the topic of Natalia.  Jessica wanted desperately to come clean, but Natalia had warned her against it.

Her reward for her dishonesty was arguments and tense silence.  Jessica and Jack had always been close.  This sort of friction wasn’t something she was used to past a few hours.  Jessica wouldn’t be able to continue like this for much longer.

11: Summer Birth (McMaster)

Philip and Bianca McMaster have been impatiently awaiting the arrival of their first child all winter and spring long.  Now, finally, summer has come and along with it, Bianca’s due date.

Bianca goes into labor on a hot, spring afternoon and Philip dutifully takes her to the hospital.  He doesn’t freak out too badly.  He’s seen horses give birth, after all.  It’s hard to come back from that experience.

Little Dylan McMaster is born healthy and happy several hours later.  After the first few nights, Philip begins to realize why most parents are cranky… they don’t sleep.  Ever.

Welcome to the world, Dylan!

I’m not doing realistic aging, but with seasons, I like the idea of sims having their babies in the semi-appropriate season.  So you get these.  I may also do weddings this way.  ;)
