Lily Ashton (Young Adult), Mark McMaster (Young Adult)
Finding out that she was pregnant was quite a pleasant shock to Lily. She didn’t discover it until she was nearly into her second trimester. Telling Mark had been interesting–it came out of seemingly nowhere. After the initial surprise wore off, they were able to bask in the happiness of the occasion. They hadn’t actually discussed children, but neither one were against the idea of them, either.

The McMaster 2 Family
Juliet McMaster (Young Adult), Sam Monte (Young Adult)
Juliet McMaster went into labor early on a frosty spring morning. The rain was washing away the remnants of the blizzard that had swept through. Luckily for her, she was more than prepared, since this baby was well overdue and quite tired of waiting!

Emma Steel (Young Adult), Skip Taylor (Young Adult), Amy Steel (Baby)
Dominic Cosaro spent a lot of time over at Emma’s apartment. He was babysitting his first grandchild, Amy. Of course, ‘babysitting’ a tiny infant mostly entailed him playing computer games while she napped quietly in her nursery. Emma and Skip did all the heavy lifting, which was just as well. Dominic had never been terribly skilled with babies.

Catherine McMaster (Young Adult), Juliet McMaster (Young Adult), Sam Monte (Young Adult)
Things had gotten complicated quickly for Catherine McMaster. She was pregnant with a random man’s baby. It wasn’t exactly the way she’d intended to start a family. Worse yet, she was still living with her sister and her fiance. It wasn’t an ideal situation by any means.
Even so, Juliet was understanding… supportive, even! It was a shock, to say the least. The twins had always been relatively close, but no one could deny their differences. Juliet insisted that Catherine stay. She wouldn’t hear anything about her moving out. She was adamant about helping her with the impending baby.

Luis Martel (Young Adult), Sacha Martel(Young Adult), Aidan Martel (Child), Sandra Martel (Toddler)
Luis had been pretty clear about not wanting anymore kids, but when Sacha popped up unexpectedly pregnant, he wasn’t angry. It was a fluke; these things happen. Sacha hadn’t done it on purpose. Besides, their little family was good. Adding to it wasn’t the worst that could happen.
Of course, Luis and Sacha were in firm agreement that three was more than enough. There would be no more babies after this.

Paula Novak (Young Adult), Stefan Novak (Young Adult), Gwendolyn Mosley (Young Adult), Stella Mosley (Child)
Since Stefan’s return, Gwendolyn found herself standing on shaky ground. It just wasn’t a situation she’d ever imagined herself in. She was surrounded by criminals and she’d even gotten herself knocked up by one. What had happened to that wholesome girl who was determined to do better than her lot in life? That seemed ages ago, a distant past that didn’t even feel like her own anymore.
Oh, Gwendolyn had tried to be good. She’d done everything right, but it had all backfired horribly. Fighting her true nature seemed to get her nowhere but ruin. So, instead, she drowned it out with alcohol. Unfortunately, Stefan’s sudden assumption of the role of ‘active father’ made him a constant thorn in the side of her fun.

Molly McMaster was welcomed into the world during a particularly heavy blizzard. The whole ordeal had been rather stressful, but Molly emerged healthy and relatively happy… the doctor swore that her non-stop crying was normal.
Little Molly wasn’t a particularly happy baby, but at least she was healthy.
She did enjoy a good bath, though. Bianca and Philip learned early on that the easiest way to get her to settle down was to give her a good scrubbing. Did they have a budding neat-freak on their hands?
Despite their new addition being particularly moody, both Bianca and Philip were happy to have a daughter. Hopefully she’d grow out of her finickiness.
Another summer, another birth! Little Sandra Martel entered the world quickly and early. It was such a shock that Luis and Sacha barely had a chance to prepare.
Sacha is relieved when the baby is deemed healthy and she’s able to take little Sandra home.
Aidan still not sure how he feels about having a little sister. He was really hoping for a little brother! Luis tried not to laugh when Aidan asked him if there was any way they could exchange her for a boy. Sacha wasn’t nearly as amused!
Still, he seems to be coming around to the idea. Especially when Luis mentioned that he’d be in charge of keeping his little sister safe. Sacha wasn’t exactly thrilled at the thought of Aidan beating up boys on the schoolyard playground for looking at his sister wrong.
Sandra probably won’t remember their old house, as just after her birth, the Martel family relocated to their home near the beach.
Sandra popped out without my knowing during all the mod confusion, sigh! The game had named her, but I was having NONE of that and quickly renamed her. My husband supplied the name. At least he didn’t try to slip a Game of Thrones reference in there. Readers of my old Boreal Springs prosperity blog will remember that my husband slipped in several references to various things when naming my sims.
Annnd that ends Round 11!
Philip and Bianca McMaster have been impatiently awaiting the arrival of their first child all winter and spring long. Now, finally, summer has come and along with it, Bianca’s due date.
Bianca goes into labor on a hot, spring afternoon and Philip dutifully takes her to the hospital. He doesn’t freak out too badly. He’s seen horses give birth, after all. It’s hard to come back from that experience.
Little Dylan McMaster is born healthy and happy several hours later. After the first few nights, Philip begins to realize why most parents are cranky… they don’t sleep. Ever.
Welcome to the world, Dylan!
I’m not doing realistic aging, but with seasons, I like the idea of sims having their babies in the semi-appropriate season. So you get these. I may also do weddings this way.
Camilla Klein (Young Adult), Alex Klein (Young Adult), Rhys Klein (Child), Gavin Klein (Baby)
Camilla didn’t stick around for long after Gavin’s birth. She took a month before immediately heading off on her tour, leaving Alex to care of the newborn on his own. Not only did he have to care for Gavin, but he also had to handle moving on his own, too. They had bought a house just outside of Aperture, in the same neighborhood as his father.
The break gave them some much needed space, but Alex wished that Camilla would take her maternal duties more seriously.
