7: Ryder – ‘Scar Tissue’

Cherie Ashton (Adult), Khalid Ryder (Adult), Lily Ashton (Teen), Jessica Ryder (Child), Jack Ryder (Child)

Jack Ryder was finally in school with his older sister, Jessica.  Unfortunately, this meant that he had to deal with his friends teasing him about ‘girl cooties’.  He didn’t think Jessica had any, though.  They’d always gotten along.  Jack had two sisters.  He didn’t really believe in girl cooties.

Besides, if they did exist, wouldn’t he have a rash or something by now?

7: Novak – ‘Gives You Hell’

Oskar Novak (Elder), Kelly McMaster (Adult), Andrew Novak (Teen), Natalia Novak (Child)

Oskar hadn’t really looked forward to hitting fifty-six.  It wasn’t exactly ancient, but it was a still a bit older than he wanted to be.  Kelly insisted on having a party, but was convinced to scale it back to just family.  The twins visited, Stefan nearly shocking them both with his recent ink work.  Paula kept mostly to herself and refused to let anyone take pictures of her.  She looked like she’d had a rough night.

7: Cosaro – ‘Interstate Love Song’

Dominic Cosaro (Adult)

Adjusting to life without Asha had been difficult, at first.  Dominic had never really been a man of relationships, but he wasn’t heartless.  Asha’s betrayal had hurt and it took some time for him to be able to continue life as normal.  He’d sleep in and Lola would be forced to wake him up.  She was like an alarm clock.

7: McMaster – ‘Good Feeling’

Patrick McMaster (Elder), Noreen McMaster (Elder),  Philip McMaster (Young Adult), Mark McMaster (Teen), Juliet McMaster (Child), Catherine McMaster (Child)

Philip McMaster was pleased to finally be done with school.  It had gotten in the way of his responsibilities for long enough.  He was a ‘salt of the earth’ kind of guy, so college really didn’t appeal to him.  He’d remain home and care for the horses.

Drifter was grown now and ready to be trained.  His mother, Dolly, was already making waves when it came to the jumping races.  Old Roy, unfortunately, was too old to compete now and just mostly hung around the farm.

6: Novak 2 – ‘Heartless’

Camilla Novak (Young Adult), Alex Klein (Young Adult)

Camilla Novak, more widely known as ‘Cammi Wylde’, was a pop sensation.  Her smaller shows were selling out, she was getting offers to open for big acts, and there was even talks of ‘Cammi’ having her own show at the stadium.  Her career was moving faster than she could almost keep up with.  It was an endless blur of shows, fans, signings, and fleeing the paparazzi.

She loved every minute of it.

6: Ryder/Martel – ‘Say It Ain’t So’

Cherie Ashton (Adult), Khalid Ryder (Adult), Luis Martel (Teen), Lily Ashton (Child), Jessica Ryder (Child), Jack Ryder (Toddler)

Lily was glad to have another girl closer to her age around the house.  Jessica was still a few years younger, but she was still old enough to help pull pranks on Luis.  They would often sneak into his room and set a trap.  It was all in good fun.

6: Novak – ‘Beautiful Disaster’

Oskar Novak (Adult), Kelly McMaster (Young Adult), Stefan Novak (Teen), Paula Novak (Teen), Andrew Novak (Child), Natalia Novak (Toddler)

Kelly Novak was doing pretty good in her life.  She was a famous television actress on a hit sitcom, she had a big, happy family, and she had married someone who not only understood her needs, but was more than happy to meet them.  She also had the final piece–a little girl that was her own.

Natalia was growing like a weed.  Unlike her other siblings, she didn’t inherit her mother or father’s fair hair, but instead took from Oskar’s father.  It was a strange mix, but it suited her.  It made her stand out.

6: Cosaro – ‘Nobody Loves You’

Dominic Cosaro (Young Adult), Asha Steel (Young Adult)

A short time after Asha told Dominic the truth about her family, she left.  They were still technically together, but she left on a trip to France in an effort to divert some of her family’s attentions away from Dominic.  He still didn’t quite grasp the gravity of what Asha had told him.

While she was away, Dominic spent a lot of his time alone at home.  He wasn’t a heavy thinker and he really didn’t enjoy having so many random thoughts moving through his brain at once.  He kind of just wanted to forget it all and return to his life.

6: McMaster – ‘Meant to Live’

Patrick McMaster (Adult), Noreen McMaster (Adult),  Philip McMaster (Teen), Mark McMaster (Child), Juliet McMaster (Child), Catherine McMaster (Child)

Philip McMaster was a senior in high school now, which meant he had more time to dedicate to his chores around the house.  He had pretty much taken over all of his late grandma Sheila’s duties.  They weren’t chores for him, he enjoyed them.  He loved being outside and around the horses.  Old Roy was a champion racer, but Dolly didn’t have the luxury of being trained by Sheila for very long, so he’d started working with her.  She was a natural jumper.

Their foal, Drifter, was proving to be a very capable horse, as well.
